Full description

Surrounded by a fiery aureole, the personification of the New Law, a young wife, holds on her lap the book with seven seals and confers a crown and palm branch, signs of victory, on the young child kneeling at her feet. The lamb beside her places its forepaws on the book. Behind her at left, Christian men and women gather to drink from a fountain watered by the blood of Christ, who stands atop it, displaying the cross. Behind her at right, the Tree of Life sprouts new leaves and branches.
