Full description

The personification of Faith as a woman warrior, armed with a cross, shelters beneath her large shield the kneeling figure of a praying man. Sitting on the globe of the world, Satan fires darts against the man, each of which stands for one of the seven deadly sins. The radiant Tetragrammaton, four Hebrew letters that stand for the name of God, floats in the sky at upper left.
